What this site is

Crema Method is an independent publication about home espresso equipment. Its content is editorial: compiled manufacturer specifications, arithmetic built from stated inputs, and our opinions about which products suit which buyer.

What it is not

• It is not a retailer. We sell nothing. Everything mentioned here is bought from someone else, under their terms.
• It is not a test lab. We have not tested, owned or used the equipment described. This is stated on how we pick and on every page that ranks products.
• It is not professional advice. It is a well-sourced opinion about buying coffee equipment.
• It is not a repair manual. Follow your manufacturer’s instructions for anything involving your machine’s internals, water system or electrics.

Accuracy, and its limits

We source what we publish and we correct what we get wrong — the process is on our editorial policy. What we cannot promise is that every figure is current at the moment you read it. Manufacturers change specifications, prices move constantly, and products are discontinued without notice.

Check the current specification and price with the retailer before you buy. That is why prices on this site carry a visible verification date and why a price older than 48 hours is withdrawn rather than shown.

Espresso machines involve pressurized hot water, steam and mains electricity. Follow your manufacturer’s instructions, and where our guidance differs from your machine’s manual, follow the manual. If a repair involves opening the machine, that is a job for the manufacturer or a qualified technician, not this website.

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top of the page moves when it changes.
