The required statement
Crema Method is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
In plain words
If you click a buy link on this site and then buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage of what you spent. You pay exactly what you would have paid anyway. The price is not increased, no discount is withheld, and nothing about your purchase changes.
That commission is how the site is paid for. There is no subscription, no paywall and no display advertising.
What an affiliate link looks like here
Every buy button on this site points at a link on our own domain that redirects you to the retailer with our affiliate tag attached — currently cremamethod-20 on Amazon. We use that redirect for one practical reason: the destination lives in a single config file, so if a better program for a product exists later we can change where the button goes without rewriting the page you are reading.
Those links carry rel="sponsored nofollow", which is how we tell search engines they are commercial. Every buy button is also labeled #ad, and every page carrying one shows a notice above the first link rather than only in the footer.
What commission does not do
- It does not set the order of a ranked list. The ordering criteria are published in full on how we pick, and neither price nor commission is among them.
- It does not decide what gets recommended. Every product on this site carries a “skip it if” line telling you who should not buy it, which is a direct cost to us and exists as evidence of exactly this.
- It does not buy inclusion. No brand has paid to be here, and none has seen a page before it published.
- It does not change a price you see. Prices come from a live data layer with a visible verification date, or the page says “check price”.
What we do not accept
- Free products, samples or loan units. We have never received one.
- Payment for placement, inclusion, or a position in a list.
- Sponsored posts of any kind.
- Editorial input from a manufacturer or a retailer.
Which programs we are in
Amazon Associates, and at present nothing else. Some sites in this category link to brand stores and affiliate networks they have not actually joined, which earns nothing and simply sends you somewhere. If we ever add a network, this page changes first.
What we would rather you did
Buy where it is cheapest and most convenient for you. If a product is better value somewhere we earn nothing from, that is genuinely fine — this site is more useful to you if you trust it than if you click every link in it.
